The LPUK Datadashboard© is produced under a national contract with the Learning and Skills Council (LSC).

Along with the LPUK Curriculum Heatmap©, this has been designed to provide a clear and focused summary of the range and quality of post-16 provision of maintained sector providers.  It is a very visual tool to ensure information is easily accessible and understood to assist with decision making.  It is intended for use by the Local Authorities (LA) and LSC partnership teams.

The LPUK Datadashboard© is a straightforward database for each LA containing:

comparisons with regional and national LAs

provider summary data

provider value added (VA) data at Level 3 and for all post-16 maintained providers by course type

individual provider reports

gender and achievement comparisons

comparison of provider, overall LA, overall LSC region and national achievement

fail rates

The data sources include the LSC and the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF).  LSC Learner Achievement Tracker (LAT) data is available for all providers.
